beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Owning and running a business is so exciting for a multi-tasker like me! On any given day, I get to play designer, personal assistant, accountant, product manager… You name it, I most likely do it.

I love being hands-on in every aspect of my business, and so I’m guessing that a good part of Unity Weddings actually reflects me as a person. So I’ll share a little secret with you: I am all about change. Stagnation scares the jivvies out of me. I randomly change my hair color, my nails, even sometimes my friends (though not very often). I move around the furniture in my apartment very regularly (I think my neighbors don’t really like me for that). If I had the time, I’d repaint my walls every so often too.

Change is refreshing. It brings about a sense of freedom and curiosity. It also brings about more change, which is what I love. Every time I change the layout of my office, a new client coincidentally calls. I swear, it’s true.

And since my business reflects me, you guessed it, we’re all for a little bit of change every so often. I mean, the philosophy behind our services doesn’t change, and neither does the quality of the service we offer. But I think that getting a “face-lift” from time to time is refreshing.

My latest craze? The logo. Let me say it again: THE LOGO. I’ve been perusing thousands of possibilities lately, mainly to get inspirations for invitations I’m designing. And since I obviously can’t stay focused on just that, I’ve decided to redesign my logo as well.

After a lot of trial and error, as well as a lot of effort to try and come up with something that doesn’t look like any other wedding planner’s logo, I’ve stopped at these four:

My favorite ones are the two bottom ones, by I just can’t. make. up. my. mind. Ugh! I want something that is timeless and elegant. Something that says “hello, we are friendly” as well as “yes, we do charge that fee, and we totally deserve it”. I want something that appeals to a fun, fashion-forward, creative bride.

What do you think? The polls are officially open, so please go ahead and leave me a comment. I know that re-branding is often kept secret until its unveiling, but I feel like this one deserves some voting. I can’t wait to hear what you have to say!

xoxo

Hello Elyna! I don’t know if I fit the profile of fashion-forward, creative bride :-) but i really like the upper right one.But this would’t be just a “face-lift” it’s a complete change. And if you will go for bottom ones ,go for the left one ,right one looks more like “mise entete” then a logo.

I love them all! But if I had to choose I’d go with the top left one or the bottom left one. Beautiful logos!

I vote for the bottom right! It’s very simple and elegant, without being overdone:)

i actually vote for the top left hand corner one. I think it’s the simplest, and very elegant. Justa matter of taste though, cause all of the are beautiful. I don,t think you can go very wrong here in any case, but yes, top left hand corner for me:)

i like top left. why? because it is a real “logo”. it can be used on business cards, website, everywhere, and still have a contained shape and look. however, i do still like bottom left.

I love the bottom two. I think they work cohesively together. You could use the bottom left one on your website, but if you need a version that is a little smaller you could use the bottom right one.

Like davina, I like the bottom left. However ornate is trendy so if you want a little softer, and perhaps keep it for a while, I would use the top left.
Hope to meet soon, maybe all the girls(azar+davina) can do tea in the next bit!
