There’s no denying that flowergirls give weddings that “aww” factor. The frilly dresses, the flower petals, those cute little-girl smiles – is there anything cuter?! The traditional flowergirl will usually carry her coveted petals in a classic white silk basket, which are lovely (I opted for something like this at my wedding). I have no idea why but I completely forgot about this part of my wedding when I got married last October – I had even saved a template to make little paper holders and was going to ask the florist for extra petals for my guests to throw as we left the chapel (silly bride-brain)! So if I had it to do all over again, I would totally incorporate this into my day. It makes for beautiful pictures, and what’s more fun for the couple as well as the guests than showering them in prettiness?
