’tis a merry season part II

Hello!

For those of you who don’t follow things in chronological order, I just announced that I am not happy with this season. Early spring brings on a lot of torture for me, as gorgeous weddings loom around the corner.

I have actually been totally dying to blog about this, but I first wanted to make sure that the bride-to-be was ok with me blabbing about her. So here goes: One of my favorite people, the totally talented Jessica Berard is engaged! Not only is she engaged, but she also asked me to be her wedding planner! I have to hold myself back from going bonkers with exclamation marks here…

For those of you who have been sitting on clouds these past few years, Ms Jessica is one of Montreal’s most talented cake designers. If you don’t believe me, just take a peak at her website. Not only are her cakes absolutely fabulous, but they also taste like heaven. I swear, if she was my neighbor, I’d be about 20lbs heavier…

As is fit for anyone who is actually in the wedding industry, we are quickly assembling a dream team for her wedding. The reception will be held at a swanky, lofty gallery (sorry, can’t say where, gotta keep the paparazzis away). The furniture will be provided by Le Coordonnateur. And the memories will be captured on film (well, on disk) by the ever-so-talented Davina+Daniel.

Enough said? Here’s a little preview of the look we’ve got going: Black and white, with accents of deep purples and violets. Evening chic and urban elegance. Oooh, I am so excited!
