wedding lighting

Looking to completely transform a drab, ordinary room? The easiest way is by using creative lighting. One unit can flood a wall or fill a space with beautiful colour. The flames of candles can add romanticism to a dining hall. A string of tiny white lights makes everyone feel nostalgic.

Lighting can be used to create mood (throughout the evening – you can have a subdued setting for dinner and then brighter, more theatrical lighting for the party portion of the evening), highlight a particular feature of the room (such as your sweetheart table or dance floor), or add special effects (lights with the couple’s initials or other fun shapes can be projected onto walls, for example).

A pretty source of light that is perfect for a wedding are candles, either lining the aisle for the ceremony or placed on tables for the reception. Another popular option is paper lanterns. Just be sure that your venues allow for these flammable features and that you use extreme caution when setting them up.

And who doesn’t love twinkly lights? Small white lights on cords or larger clear bulbs hanging overhead – both create a whimsical, dreamy feeling perfect for a wedding.
